About 10 seasons after its creation, Herens Cycling is facing is first generation’s transition. No less than six riders are 33 years old or more at the end of the season. Those riders were loyal to the team for 5 to 9 seasons. This very stable strategy has brought many successes but created a big challenge to renew the team.
Ridley Hecht, 33 years old, 9 seasons
Matúš Bakoš, 33 years old, 8 seasons
Ralph Richter, 33 years old, 9 seasons
Dario Melia, 34 years old, 8 seasons
Darius Fehr, 34 years old, 7 seasons
Filipe Noes, 36 years old, 5 seasons
The management decided to dedicate its resources to training of young riders during the last 4 seasons. This season saw the uprising of two young Swiss talents, Edi Bacilieri and Miroslav Arbenz , respectively 23 and 25 years old, who will probably take a long-term leadership in Herens Cycling.
Consequently, after having trained two leaders, the management is looking to replace its older members and is looking for teammates to support the two co-captains. The strategy still implies that a majority of riders come from Switzerland but is conscious of the difficulty of the task for such a small country. Probably the first on the list, as he is ready to retire, Filipe Noes is still worth around 40’000 $. Oscar Camenzind also explains that a downhill guide is the priority.

It's time for your team to try Norway and Perm. Maybe RoTM again.
Thank you. I won't be able to participate in Monte Rosa, I think I got too much points.
Very patient and good management. Actually you have set me an example to attempt Monte Rosa-RoTM double :D
